Bulldogs Advance to Class 2, D16 Semifinals

Gallatin teams easily advanced to the semifinal round of the Class 1, District 16 Basketball Tournament held at East Buchanan High School.

The top-seeded Lady Bulldogs swept past St. Joseph Christian, 59-22, on Monday to earn a berth against #4 East Buchanan in tonight’s (Wednesday) 6 p.m. game. Second-seeded South Harrison faces Maysville in the other semifinal contest.

GHS Girls Close GRC Slate at Perfect 9-0

With Friday night’s 66-36 victory over Stanberry, Gallatin’s Lady Bulldogs completed a perfect run through the Grand River Conference for only the second time in team history. That speaks volumes about how tough the league has been over the years.

Redbirds Move to Class 1, D14 Semifinals

Winston’s boys moved one game closer to tying the school’s all-time win record with Tuesday night’s 74-45 victory over Pattonsburg in the opening round of Class 1, District 14 action at North Andrew High School.

The Redbirds enter Thursday’s semifinal game with King City looking for their 24th win of the season.
