A Trenton youth received moderate injuries when she was a passenger in a vehicle involved in an accident that happened at about 7:56 a.m. on June 4 in Grundy County.

K.C. Teenager Life-Flighted After Wreck on I-35, Arrested

A teenager from Kansas City was seriously injured and taken by Life-Flight after striking another vehicle head-on in an accident that happened at about 7:06 a.m. in Daviess County.

According to officers with the highway patrol, Edgar Hernandez Prado, 17, was northbound on I-35 driving a 2003 Ford Taurus. Another vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet 2500 pickup, was being driven southbound by William Wyant, 66, Martinsville.

Two people were injured in a head on accident that happened at about 6 a.m. on May 12 in Daviess County.

According to a report from the highway patrol, Dennis Swearingin, 33, Pattonsburg, was southbound on Hwy. 13 one mile south of Route H and Duane Seager, 69, Jameson, was northbound. Mr. Swearingin crossed over the center line and struck Mr. Seager’s vehicle head on.
