A Cameron man received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 11 a.m. on November 14 in Daviess County.

Clarksdale woman injured after car strikes dog

Karla Pierce, 42, Clarksdale, received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 8:50 p.m. Oct. 12 in Daviess County.

According to the highway patrol’s report, Ms. Pierce was westbound on Hwy. 6, about three miles east of Weatherby. A dog ran into the path of her 2012 Chevrolet Cruze and was struck. The vehicle was moved from the roadway to a private drive.

Coffey Man Fatally Injured in Accident

A Coffey man was fatally injured in an accident that happened at about 3:25 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, in Harrison County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Max Lee Courter, 51, Coffey, was northbound on Hwy. 13 driving an Allis Chalmers D-17 tractor and pulling a Great Plains drill. About five miles south of Bethany, the drill began weaving, causing Mr. Courter to lose control of the tractor.
