Two from Jamesport Injured in Accident

Brian Coombs, 21, Jamesport, and a passenger in his 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara, Jeramiah Brittain, 15, Jamesport, were moderately injured in an accident that happened in Grundy County at about 4 p.m. on May 23.

Head-On Collision

Two people were injured in a head on accident that happened at about 6 a.m. on May 12 in Daviess County.

According to a report from the highway patrol, Dennis Swearingin, 33, Pattonsburg, was southbound on Hwy. 13 one mile south of Route H and Duane Seager, 69, Jameson, was northbound. Mr. Swearingin crossed over the center line and struck Mr. Seager’s vehicle head on.

Tractor and Car Have Skirmish on Route Y

A tractor and automobile collided on Route Y, one mile north of Plattsburg, sending one Gallatin woman to the hospital and one Gallatin man to jail.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Blake Stephens, 22, Plattsburg, was driving a 2004 New Holland Farm Tractor northbound on Route Y at about 8:02 p.m. on May 2, in Clinton County. Justin Gillette, 26, Gallatin, was driving a 1991 Acura northbound.

Pickup and 4-Wheeler Collide on Gravel Road

Elysia Stone, 26, Gallatin received serious injuries after the four-wheeler she was driving was struck by a pickup at about 6:48 p.m. on April 12.

Three Hurt in Accident Near Winston

On April 5 at about 7:20 p.m., Charles Uthe, 18, Winston, was eastbound on 140th Street about a third of a mile east of Winston. He was driving a 2005 Ford SUV. His vehicle began to slide as it came out of a curve and ran off the right side of the roadway. The SUV went down an embankment and struck several trees where it came to rest.

Area Teenagers Wreck on Highway

Molly Ward, 17, Hamilton, received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 5:25 p.m. on Friday, March 28, in Daviess County.
