Winston man hurt after rear-ended on I-35

A Winston man received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 6 a.m. on Friday, March 3, in DeKalb County.

According to the Highway Patrol, Kenneth Waln, 69, Winston, was driving a 1971 International pickup southbound on I-35. Tammy Reith, 53, Belton, driving a 2012 Kenworth, was also southbound on I-35. Both vehicles were in the driving lane. Ms. Reith’s vehicle struck Mr. Waln’s vehicle in the rear.

Tina woman injured in accident

A Tina woman received moderate injuries in an accident that happened at about 5:13 p.m. on Feb. 19 in Daviess County.

According to the state patrol, the accident occurred as Kyle Downs, 18, Trenton, was northbound on Grand Street in Jamesport. Roy Houk, 22, Jamesport, was eastbound on Gilliland Road. Two people were hurt in an accident that happened at about 3:32 p.m. on Feb. 5, in Daviess County.

Gallatin man injured in accident

Aaron Burrell, 35, Gallatin, received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident that happened at about 11:50 a.m. on Feb. 5, in Daviess County.

According to the highway patrol, Mr. Burrell was westbound on Hwy. 6, driving a 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche. He drove off the north side of the roadway and overcorrected, going into the eastbound lane. He overcorrected again, causing the vehicle to rotate. His vehicle traveled off of the

Three vehicles were involved in an accident that sent a Liberty woman to the hospital with minor injuries

According to the highway patrol, the accident occurred at about 7:45 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, in Daviess County, about three miles north of Pattonsburg.

The three vehicles were southbound on I-35.

Iowa man fatally injured in accident

A Des Moines, Iowa, man, Nicholas Taylor, 35, was fatally injured in an accident that happened at about 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, in Daviess County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mr. Taylor was driving a 2017 Freightliner southbound on I-35.

A Kansas driver received minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash that left her vehicle upside down at about 1:43 p.m. on Nov. 23, in Daviess County.

10 Fatalities Over 2016 Thanksgiving Holiday

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 10 people died during this year’s Thanksgiving holiday counting period–from 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016. Troopers investigated 400 traffic crashes, which included 124 injuries, and eight of the 10 fatalities.
