Traditional Island Music in Concert

Attend Drawing Workshop

Country Musicians Come to Town

TRENTON, MO — On August 8, Young Country will perform at the North 65 Center at 7 p.m. With styles and covers from today’s country to classic country, bluegrass, gospel, and old-time rock-n-roll, this band is widely known throughout northwest Missouri and southwest Iowa for playing favorite hits and classics. Eligible Seniors Get Free Medical Eye Exam

A public service called EyeCare America, a program begun by the Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, matches eligible senior citizens with nearby volunteer ophthalmologists who will provide up to one FREE medical eye exam per year. Livingston County Holiday Checkpoint

Captain James E. McDonald, commanding officer of Troop H, St. Joseph, announced the results of a sobriety checkpoint in Livingston County. The checkpoint was held from 10 p.m. on July 4, 2014, to 2 a.m. on July 5, 2014.
