Officers Pursue Stolen Vehicle into Daviess County

Two persons were arrested Jan. 10 following a pursuit that started in Cameron at 2:59 a.m. and ended in Daviess County in a collision with a patrol vehicle.

Redbirds Build on Best Ever Start

Winston’s boys continued to build upon their best ever start as they blasted Union Star, 51-17, Monday night in the opening round of the Osborn Tournament.

The Redbirds, now 12-1, advanced to Thursday’s semifinal round at 6 p.m. against either #4 Stewartsville or #5 Polo.

Polo Bank Robber Nabbed in Richmond

A suspect has been taken into custody after he was alleged to have robbed Bank Northwest on Main Street in Polo in Caldwell County on Friday evening, Jan. 9. Richmond Police arrested Oran F. Woodfin, 30, later Friday night at the Super 8 motel.
