Marjorie L. Teeter Williams 1930-2015

Marjorie L. Teeter Williams, 84, Hamilton, formerly of Pattonsburg, passed away Feb. 24, 2015, at a Hamilton nursing home.

She was born Nov. 10, 1930, in Daviess County, the daughter of Earl Gobel and Eunice Herndon (Plum) Clark.

On Dec. 9, 1948, she married Merle M. Teeter. He preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1990. On March 22, 1992, she married R. J. Williams. He preceded her in death

Cora Sue Shaw 1942-2015

Cora Sue Shaw, 72, passed away Feb. 19 at Cameron Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cameron.

Sue was born on the farm near Pattonsburg on Jan. 22, 1942, to Alpha O. and Della L. (Willis) Shaw. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Max and Gary Shaw.

Sue graduated from Pattonsburg High School in 1959. After graduation she attended NWMSU for one year.

She moved to Omaha, Neb.,

Silas Teddy “Ted” Buckland 1944-2015

Silas Teddy “Ted” Buckland, 70, of Jameson, and Chico, Calif., passed away Feb. 18, 2015, in a car accident. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at The Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gallatin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Civil Bend Christian Cemetery near Pattonsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Michael J.

Phyllis Gibbens 1934-2015

Phyllis Gibbens, 80, of Gallatin, passed away Feb. 21, 2015, at a health care facility in Independence. Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery near Gallatin. Dean B. Merrigan 1925-2015

Dean B. Merrigan, 89, Coffey, passed away at his home on Feb. 19, 2015, surrounded by family and loved ones.

He was born on June 6, 1925, to Thomas and Marceline (Hill) Merrigan in Clyde, Mo. He graduated from Winston High School in 1944 and enlisted in the Navy shortly thereafter to serve his country in WWII. He went on to serve in the Asiatic Pacific Theater on the USS

Wilma Ruth Glorioso 1924-2015

Wilma passed away Feb. 15, 2015, at her home in Parkville, Mo., at the age of 90. She was born in the Braymer-Black Oak area on Dec. 6, 1924, to parents Claude and Grace Wheeler. She married Joe Glorioso on Dec. 31, 1971, in Las Vegas.

Wilma spent her life as a hair stylist making all of her clients beautiful. She owned several salons in the Northland area of Kansas

Funeral services for W. Jean Frazier were held Feb. 16, at Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg.

Jean Frazier, 75, Pattonsburg, died Feb. 12, 2015, at a Maryville nursing home.

She was born May 19, 1939, in Mt. Moriah, the daughter of Charles Ward and Nora Bell (Thomas) Franklin.
