Larry Craig d. Sept. 12, 2016

A family visitation in honor of Larry Craig was held Sept. 17, at the family home in Ridgeway. Larry has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany.

Larry Gough 1945-2016

Funeral services for Larry Gough will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Kidder Baptist Church. Visitation is from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton. Darla Mae Sutton Cox 1941-2016

Darla Mae Sutton Cox, 75, of Coffey, passed away Sept. 10, 2016 at her home in Coffey.

She was born March 2, 1941 in Harrison County, the daughter of Emmett Warren and Eula Mae (Pardun) Sutton.

She lived on several different farmsteads in the area until 1946 when the family settled on the family farm near Coffey.

Michael Nevin Warnes 1944-2016

obit-warnes  Michael Nevin Warnes of Kansas City, Mo. died Sept. 2, 2016 of heart and lung disease in Vero Beach, Fla. Cremation.

He was born on Dec. 19, 1944 in Gallatin, to Isadora Nevin Warnes and Melba Lee Blackburn Warnes (deceased).

He is survived by his sweetheart, Christine Pitts Slater, married July 1, 2000.

Leila Rose Hartpence, 95, passed away Sept. 7, 2016 at the Daviess County Nursing & Rehab in Gallatin. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 12 at Hillcrest Cemetery near Gallatin. William “Bill” F. Michael 1941-2016

William “Bill” Francis Michael, 75, Winston, died Aug. 31, 2016.

Bill was born on June 21, 1941 in Half Rock, Mo. to Joseph Andrew and Evelyn Louise (Cramer) Michael.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dianne; brother, Jody; and sister, Jane Michael.

Bill was a 1959 graduate of Princeton High School. He worked as a carpenter for Jenkins and Associates, Kansas City, before retiring.

Archie Linville 1923-2016

Archie Linville, 93, Gallatin died Aug. 27, 2016, at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Hamilton.

No services are planned. Inurnment will be at the McCrary Cemetery near Gallatin. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the McCrary Cemetery in care of McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin.

Verna Salmon 1914-2016

Funeral services for Verna Salmon were held Aug. 29, 2016, at Turner Family Funeral Home, Maysville. Burial was at Bethel Cemetery, Weatherby.

Verna Gladys Huff Salmon, 102, Lawrence, Kan., died on Aug. 26, 2016.

The daughter of Elizabeth Epperson Huff and Willis Alfred Huff, she was born on March 1, 1914, in Cypress Township in Harrison County.
