Gathyl Hibbs 1933-2017

Funeral services for Gathyl Hibbs were held Feb. 3, at the First Baptist Church, Stanberry, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Stanberry. Burial with military rites followed in High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry. Memorial contributions may be made to Harrison County Hospice and/or the National Alzheimers Association, c/o Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 153, Stanberry, Mo., 64489.

Billie Rae Diem 1940-2017

Billie Rae Diem, loving Husband, Daddy and Grandpa, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 30, 2017 at his home in Springfield, Mo. Bill was born on Jan. 7, 1940 to Lou Ethel (Raines) & Wallace Whitney Diem, was the youngest of 3 children and grew up in Hamilton. Bill was preceded in death by his Father; Mother; and eldest Sister, Violet Vinita Fagley of Hamilton.

Zemilena M. Markham 1922-2017

Zemilena M. Markham, 94, of St. Joseph, (formerly of Pattonsburg) passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at Riverside Place, St. Joseph.

She was born Nov. 12, 1922 in Pattonsburg, the daughter of Martin David and Della Mae (Sweat) Shipers.

On Nov. 29, 1942 she married Jack L. Markham in Gallatin. He preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 2002.

James Samuel Miller 1954-2017

James Samuel “Sam” Miller, 62, of Pattonsburg, passed away Jan. 29, 2017 at his home in Pattonsburg.

He was born Nov. 18, 1954 in St. Joseph, the son of James Lester and Dorothy Ilene (Wren) Miller.

Sam served in the US Navy from 1974 to 1985 aboard the Carrier, USS America. Later he joined the Air National Guard in St. Joseph for 8 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the

Darlene Dunlap 1936-2017

Funeral services for Darlene Dunlap were held Jan. 30, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Stewartsville, with burial at Winston cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Second Harvest Community Food Bank.

Darlene Dunlap, 80, died on Jan. 26, 2017, at LaVerna Village in Savannah.

Wanda Sims d. Jan. 23, 2017

Donald D. Carter, Sr. 1937-2017

Donald D. Carter, Sr. “Donnie”, 79, of Bethany, (formerly of Pattonsburg and Coffey) passed away Jan.29, 2017 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, Mo.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1937 in Pattonsburg, the son of Dutch and Daisey Carter.

On April 14, 1962 he married Wanda Cole in Coffey. She survives of the home.
