Gary Eugene Swofford, 71, Trenton, died April 22, 2016, at Saint Luke’s Hospice House.
Gary donated his body to science at K.U. Medical School as a final offering in helping others.
There was a private family memorial.

V. Nadine Cain, 95, Independence, formerly of Pattonsburg, died April 21, 2016, at North Care Hospice House, Kansas City.
She was born Nov. 17, 1920, in McFall, the daughter of
Ruth Bailey, 97, of Gallatin passed away April 19, 2016 at the Daviess County Nursing Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 22 at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin where friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday. Visitation will be 1-hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery near Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Viking Church c/o McWilliams Funeral
Private burial for Frances D. Carter will take place in Coffey Cemetery. At her request, no services or visitation will be held.
Frances D. Carter, 83, died April 19, 2016, at her home.
Frances was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Jamesport, the daughter of George and Alice (Markum) Bennett.
On July 2, 1972, she married John F. Frank Carter in McFall. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2004.
Louise was born Nov. 21, 1915 near Gibbon, Neb. to Charles and Verna (Maurer) Mathews, the eighth of nine children. She graduated from Gibbon High School in 1933 and after securing a teaching credential,
William C. “Whimp” Wyrick, 75, of McFall, passed away April 13, 2016, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO.
He was born Sept. 22, 1940, in McFall, the son of Lucian L. and Hazel Frances (Hines) Wyrick.
Whimp was honorably discharged after serving in the Navy during Vietnam.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his 4-wheeler, mushroom hunting and eating, hanging out with friends, and caring for all of his animals.
A Natural Farewell for Charlene Pfleiderer was held under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
Charlene J. Pfleiderer, 80, St. Joseph, died April 14, 2016, at her home.
She was born Oct. 13, 1935, in Pattonsburg.
Charlene married Lloyd Francis Pfleiderer on Sept. 25, 1954.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Gladys (Owens) Bromley; and son, Brent Pfleiderer.
Survivors include her husband of 62
