Clair Lucille (Crookshanks) Stodgell 1923-2015

Lucille Stodgell, age 91, of Chillicothe, passed away on April 18, 2015, at the Baptist Home, Chillicothe.

Lucille was born the daughter of Ervin and Ina (Pridemore) Crookshanks on Aug. 4, 1923, in Chillicothe. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Stodgell on Feb. 6, 1940, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1984. Lucille was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe.

Daphna June Cummings 1925-2015

Daphna June Cummings, 90, of Pattonsburg, departed this world April 12, 2015, at Liberty Hospital.

She was born in Pattonsburg on Feb. 26, 1925, to Walter and Helen (Zentz) Warford. On August 8, 1946, she married Paul Junior Cummings in Kansas City, Kan. He preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2013, after 67 years of marriage.

Pastor Ralph J. Davis, Jr., 69, of Gallatin, passed away April 10, 2015, surrounded by his family.

Leota King, 82, Ridgeway, formerly of Gilman City, passed away April 2, 2015, at Mosaic Life Center in St. Joseph.

Leota was born Jan. 5, 1933, in Urbana, the daughter of William Howard and Viven (Stith) Francis.
