Alfred N. “Red” Kinzie 1935-2015

Alfred N. “Red” Kinzie, 80, passed away Aug. 10, 2015, at his home in Coffey.

He was born July 10, 1935, the son of Edward and Ruth (Simpson) Kinzie. They preceded him in death.

On Jan. 8, 1965, he married Helen Lynn Stewart in Papillion, Neb. She survives at home.

Alfred worked as a truck driver for several years.

Warren Willis 1921-2015

Funeral service for Warren Willis was held Monday, Aug. 10, at the Liberty Baptist Church, McFall, with burial in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Pattonsburg. Lorraine Ella Houghton 1926-2015

Lorraine Ella Houghton, 88, St. Joseph, passed away Aug. 7, 2015, at Mosaic Life Care.

She was born Dec. 19, 1926, to George and Florence Higgins in Faith, S.D.

Lorraine enjoyed playing the organ, hand quilting, being outdoors and tending to her flower gardens.

She was a member of the Kildare Ladies Club and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a devout catholic and attended Mary Immaculate Catholic Church while living

Dewight Smith 1969-2015

Gerald Dewight “Hillbilly” Smith died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, as result of an accident. Services were held Aug. 10, at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was at the Greenwood cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Dewight Smith Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.

Roger Eichler, 78, Gallatin, passed away Aug. 3, 2015, at the Daviess County Nursing and Rehab. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the St. John’s Lutheran Church 101 Calhoun Street Chillicothe. Funeral services for Ira Woody will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at the Jamesport Methodist Church. Christopher L. Nash 1925-2015

Christopher L. Nash, 89, Gallatin, died July 28, 2015, at the Daviess County Nursing and Rehab.

Christopher was born Sept. 7, 1925, in Oak Park, Ill., the son of James and Martha (Anglos) Nash. He graduated from high school and college and worked in sales for many years. He loved to write short stories and read.

There are no services planned. Cremation completed by McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin.
