Results of Hazardous Moving Operation in Clinton County

Captain James E. Jail Pays Off Debt One Year Early

The Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail Board agreed to withdraw $525,000 from a CD at BTC Bank in order to make the final payment of its $3.5 million note for the purchase of the jail. Final payment was due in 2015; the jail will be paid off a year early.

Suspect arrested in recurring Jamesport burglaries

Dillan Matthew Pratt, Trenton, was arrested Aug. 26 for multiple burglaries which occurred at the Jamesport Country Store, beginning in June and continuing through Aug. 21. He was charged with4 class C felonies of 2nd degree burglary, D felony tampering with felony prosecution, 1 felony count of theft, 2 misdemeanor counts of theft and 2 misdemeanor counts of property damage.

Josh Boyd Still at Large, Manhunt Ongoing

Sgt. Jake Angle of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said today (Friday, Aug. 29), his agency has received no tips, no reports, no calls and no sightings since Wednesday when Joshua Boyd is believed to have abandoned a stolen Kansas City Police car on I-35 near Pattonsburg.
