ZTR Speedway Will Be Going Full Tilt… Soon

It’s been a bumpy start for ZTR Speedway, as the opening night has been canceled several times due to rain. ZTR Speedway Kart Racing, owned by Jake and Tiffany Cameron of Winston, began preparing the track in late 2014.

“We were supposed to open May 2,” said Mr. Cameron. “But the weather has been messing with us.”

Vaughn Walters Will Sell at Hunting and Fishing Show

Among those with decoys and antiques set up at the North Central Missouri Hunting & Fishing Collectible Show in Chillicothe on June 5 and 6 will be Vaughn Walters, a familiar face from this area.

Second Annual Hunting, Fishing Collectibles Show

The second annual North Central Missouri Hunting & Fishing Collectibles Show will be held June 5 and 6 at the Litton Ag Campus, Jenkins Expo Center in Chillicothe. The show will take place from 1-8 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Big BAM Miles Across the State

Big BAM is a party on wheels—bicycle wheels, that is. Big BAM (Bicycle Across Missouri) is a cross-state bicycle ride and music festival, from the Missouri to the Mississippi River, which covers 300 miles and includes more than two dozen bands at different stops during the five-day ride. About 1,000 riders have already signed up.

Resound Fest Returns to Miracle Hills Ranch

On June 12-13, the Resound Fest, produced by LifeLight, will return to Miracle Hills Ranch in Bethany for its sixth year. The free Christian music festival promises a weekend full of uplifting music and dynamic speakers for all who attend.

Time to Get Rolling for Farm Bureau Tractor Cruise

The 2015 Keep Missouri Farming Tractor Cruise sponsored by the Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture will take place July 18, rain or shine.

Drivers will take a scenic 37-mile journey through Caldwell and Daviess Counties, starting and ending at the Caldwell County Steam Engine Fairgrounds, 834 Northwest Osage Drive in Hamilton. Check in is at 8 a.m. Driver’s meeting is at 9:30 a.m. Start time is at 10 a.m.

GHS Presents Groom Has Cold Feet

The 2015 Gallatin High School Drama Club will be presenting the murder mystery The Groom Has Cold Feet by Martin A. Follose. The play will be at the Courtier Theater on Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24, at 6 p.m. both nights. The cost for admission is $5.

Spring Concert at Trenton LDS

The Trenton Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is having a Spring Concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, at the Trenton Branch (2930 Oklahoma Avenue, Trenton).
