Chautauqua’s Theme: How the West Was Fun!

The 2014 Daviess County Chautauqua will kick off on Friday, Sept. 19, with some new events and some traditional events on the schedule. A variety of vendors will be around the square throughout the weekend.

Friday’s 5:30 p.m. opening will feature a flag ceremony and VFW brick ceremony, followed by musical entertainment and a family movie on the square.

Dancing in the Streets

WEATHERBY, MO — On Saturday, Sept. 13, Weatherby will host music by Sweet Dreamer and DC and Kei for a street dance on the town square, 6 p.m. – 12 a.m. Food including BBQ brisket, a baked potato bar, hamburgers, hot dogs, Fritos pie, taco pie, nachos, and French fries will kick things off. CAAC Season Tickets Available

Tickets are now on sale for the Chillicothe Area Arts Council’s 2014-15 season. This season runs from September to May and includes admission to all shows, from choir performances and talent shows to popular musicals and featured musicians. Season passes cost $65 for adults; $60 for senior citizens; and $30 for students.
