Smoke in the Park Promises Something for Everyone

Make plans to attend this year’s Smoke in the Park to be held June 20-21 in Gallatin. Gates will open at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, for teams to begin setting up their spots. Cooks’ meeting will be at 7:30 Friday night.

The four categories will be chicken, pork ribs, pork and beef brisket. Main judging starts at noon Saturday.

Annual Sliced Bread Jam Bluegrass Festival

CHILLICOTHE, MO — It’s time for the second annual bluegrass festival, which this year will feature six bands and open up camping grounds for the first time. Smoke in the Park Heats Up

The 2014 Smoke in the Park will be held June 20-21 at Dockery Park in Gallatin.

Main judging is at 12 noon Saturday. People’s choice judging will follow the main judging. There are four categories for barbecue: chicken, pork ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket.

This is a non-sanctioned event and KCBS rules and regulations will apply.

All proceeds go to VFW Post 2172.

Sculpture Walk Kicks Off

The City of St. Joseph and the St. Joseph Downtown Community Improvement District invite you to the opening reception for the St. Joseph Sculpture Walk, where you can meet the artists and take a tour of this year’s sculptures on June 13. Children’s Theater Returns to Gallatin

The Caldwell County Civil War Reenactment, “A Country, A County Divided” is scheduled for June 6-8 in Kingston.
