Holt Competes at State Fair

Rachel Peery Holt of Hamilton competed in the Missouri State Fair Idol competition during the final round at the state fairgrounds in Sedalia.

CAAC Season Tickets Available

Season tickets are now on sale for the Chillicothe Area Arts Council’s 2014-15 season. The 2014-15 season runs from September to May and included admission to all shows, from choir performances and talent shows to popular musicals and featured musicians. Season tickets cost $65 for adults; $60 for senior citizens; and $30 for students. Bethany Girl Heads to American Idol Audition

Seventeen-year-old Courtney Chamberlain of Bethany auditioned at the Kansas City regional tryouts last week for season 14 of the television talent show American Idol. After singing with three others and qualifying for the next stage, she has headed to Music City in Nashville, Tenn., for preliminary auditions.
