Gallatin Theatre Presents “The Fantasticks”

Northwest Missouri is in for a real treat this April as the Gallatin Theatre League once again presents quality live entertainment on the stage at Courter Theater in Gallatin. “The Fantasticks” will open at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, with performances on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, as well.

Liberty Theatre to Present Alice in Wonderland

Annual Sliced Bread Jam Bluegrass Festival

Gioia Perreca Stars in “Annie”

Gioia Elaine Perreca, 10, recently starred as “Annie” in the musical Annie. The show and three performances were produced by the “In The Light Performing Arts Center” in Peculiar. Gioia has been involved in theater since age six, in musicals including Mary Poppins, Charlotte’s Web, Willy Wonka, and Alice in Wonderland. “Annie” was her first lead.

Chautauqua in Question; Council Resigns En Masse

At the November 2013 meeting of the Daviess County Fine Arts Council, the entire council resigned. This group comprises the volunteers who organize and produce the Daviess County Chautauqua, which is held each September in Gallatin.
