Daviess County Sheriff Activity Report

3-4-14

2:05 am –  Rocky A. Botts, Sr., 33, St. Joseph, was transferred from St. Joseph Police Department to DDCRJ on a Daviess County warrant with charges of delivery or possession of item at a county jail, 4 counts class A misdemeanor. Bond is set at $3,000 cash.

3:30 pm – Sheriff’s Office (SO) assisting with medical call and landing of Life Flight helicopter.

3:45 pm – Subject turned himself

11:14 am – Harrison County advising of C&I driver southbound I-35 at 78mm.

11:35 am – Caller advising Sheriff’s Office (SO) of individual sleeping in vehicle.

7:46 pm – Caller advising SO of domestic in Jamesport.

7:54 pm – SO en route to above call.

8:50 pm – SO arrested Tina M. Ableidinger, 35, Jamesport. Ableidinger was transported to DDCRJ. A warrant was issued on charges of domestic assault,

Sheriff’s Office Receives NITRO Funds

On Feb. 19, the Northwest Missouri Interagency Team Response Operations (NITRO) presented the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office with a check for $10,000 dollars. The money is derived from assets forfeiture seizures. “The funds are greatly appreciated and will be well utilized,” said Sheriff Ben Becerra.

The road and bridge crew is working in North Jackson Township on Prairie Avenue to redeck a bridge.

North Daviess School District requested use of the commissioners’ room for a school project. Commissioners approved use of room.

Adkison Pleads Guilty in Ohio

A Missouri man — who faces charges of kidnaping and assault of a Hamilton woman from last year — pled guilty to five criminal charges in Ohio and has been sentenced to prison. A judge sentenced Brian Adkison to two years in a Correctional Institute near Cleveland. Adkison receives credit for 160 days served since his September arrest in Ohio.

Teen Charged for Pornography, Resisting Arrest

Jeramy Sanders, the Pattonsburg teen sought by law enforcement last week in connection with a missing female juvenile, has been charged with three unrelated felonies.

A statewide endangered missing person advisory had been issued for the 14-year-old. Apparently, Megan had traveled from Grundy County to Daviess County with Jeramy, 17, on Saturday, Feb. 15. They were to return to Grundy County on Sunday but didn’t return as expected.
