2:48 pm – Out with Division of Family Services (DFS).

3:35 pm – Tambra Pierce, 43, Altamont, was taken into custody on probation/parole violations warrant, original charge of possession of controlled substance, felony. Pierce was transported to DDCRJ and then will be taken to Missouri Department of Corrections.

3:13 pm – Out with DFS.

5:42 pm – C&I Driver Highway 6.

6:04 pm – Lumber scattered on Highway 190.

Eligible voters may vote absentee in person at the County Clerk’s office at the Daviess County Courthouse through 5 p.m. the day before the election. The office is also open for absentee voting on Saturday, Aug. 2, 8 a.m. to noon.

Driver Exam Moved for Elections

On Aug. 5, the Gallatin Driver Examination Station normally located in the Daviess County Courthouse, 102 North Main Street, Gallatin, will be relocated to the Daviess County Library, 306 West Grand, Gallatin. The exam room will be in the upstairs conference room of the library.

The Tuesday, Aug. 5, elections will also take place in the library. The elections will be held downstairs in the community room.
