County Commission

Resolution 2015-2 was signed and approved by all commissioners for lease and outright purchase of one vehicle from Home Exchange Bank. Equipment lease-purchase agreements were signed by both parties.

10:26 am – Sheriff assisting with baby locked in car in Jamesport. Mom accidentally locked keys in car.

Daviess County Sheriff’s Incident Report

$300 reward offered for information about Lake Viking damage.

On June 6, numerous reports of property damage were made by residents on Lake Viking Terrace. The damage included mailboxes being run over, trash cans pushed into cars, and damage to yards.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $300 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the individuals involved in the property damage which occurred at Lake

Daviess County Sheriff’s Office Incident Report

Dennis McCrary, 58, Gilman City, has been charged with class C felony theft of credit device and misdemeanor violation of order of protection. He was arrested on June 1. On April 27, Roxanna Hughes reported the theft of her credit card to the Bethany Police Department when she learned that transactions were being made on her card in Bethany.

7:25am – Report of burglary to business in Jamesport. Intruders appeared to have entered through an unlocked window. Owners reported approximately $198 in coin and currency was all that was taken.

Daviess County Sheriff’s Office Incident Summary

Four persons were arrested during a traffic stop on northbound I-35 in Daviess County on May 17 on various drug and firearm charges. According to the probable cause report, Ashley Snidow, 19, was pulled over for speeding in a Toyota Camry with Minnesota license plates. Her Missouri driver’s license was suspended, and Trooper J.
