County Commission

Road and Bridge Supervisor Jason Lewis and crew are cutting brush around bridges in the county.

A semi-final inspection of bridge #33000091 over Sampson Creek is scheduled for Jan. 28 at 10 a.m.

Charles Winger discussed road closure at Ridge Avenue and 240th Street in Sheridan Township.

Daviess County Sheriff’s Activity Report

1-20-15

9 am – Associate Court in session, as well as jury trial scheduled for two days.

1:36 pm – Deputies and fire department assisting with emergency call at courthouse. Three people stuck in the elevator.

1:50 pm – Report of trespassing on property on Highway AA between Pattonsburg and McFall.

3:06 pm – People are out of the elevator.

3:20 pm – Daviess County Sheriff’s Office (SO) took Brittany A. Karstens into custody on a failure to appear warrant on original charges of non-support, misdemeanor A. Bond is set at $2,500 cash. Karstens was transported to DDCRJ.
