Birds Celebrate 66th Anniversary

 

J.R. and Betty Bird of Gallatin will celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary on Jan. 16. They were married on that date in 1949. Freezing rain and icy roads have made a shambles of high school basketball tournaments throughout Northwest Missouri this week, including the 11th annual Lawson Tournament. Salmons Celebrate 50th Anniversary

Gary and Nancy Salmon will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 27. They were married in Albany in 1964 at the Christian Church. Gary and Nancy grew up as neighbors and friends, both graduating from King City High School.
