Livick-Vollintine Engagement Announced

Larry and Cheryl Livick proudly announce the engagement of their son Jason DeWayne Livick of Gallatin and Ariel LeAnne Sarah Mary Vollintine, daughter of Mark Benjamin Vollintine and Sandra Kay Hovey of St. Joseph. The bride and groom will marry on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Lake Viking Church.

Laney-Burzinski Wed August 31

Nellie Leslyn Laney and Kyle Robert Burzinski were married August 31, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Gallatin. Pastor Garrett Trunk officiated. Following the ceremony, the couple was honored at a cake and punch reception. Guests came as far away as from Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, and even the country of Papua New Guinea. After their honeymoon in Tennessee, the couple will be at home for a time in Wisconsin.

Michael-Cousins Reunion

The 49th annual Michael-Cousins family reunion was held Aug. 3, 2013, at the community building in Ravanna. Thirty-one members of the Michael family were in attendance.

Jesse and Stella (Cousins) Michael raised 13 children in the Newtown-Harris area before settling in Ravanna. Many of the grandchildren continue to live in and around Newtown, Milan, Unionville, Mercer, Princeton and Gallatin. Others moved north into Iowa.
