Tops seeds all advance easily in early GIT action


Freshman Dylan Burns captures a rebound for Gallatin during Tuesday night’s 49-39 GHS win over the Maysville Wolverines.

The opening round of the 40th Annual Gallatin Invitational Tournament held no surprises or shocks for the event’s top seeded teams. None of the eight first round contests ended with less than a double digit scoring difference between winner and loser.

Trenton’s top-seeded girls and Gallatin’s second-seeded Lady Bulldogs each advanced easily
