Hancock breaks GRC pole vault record with 13’6” vault

After a long absence in the Grand River Conference record book, Gallatin now owns one new mark in the conference’s track and field competition.

Senior Tate Hancock bested all pole vaulters Monday during the league meet and set a new high mark of 13’6”, breaking the previous record set by Maysville’s Taylor Mason by five inches.

Hancock’s first place performance was only one of Gallatin’s point-producing marks at Monday’s league
