Cameron man uses false credentials as EMT

Ryan J. Ford of Cameron was charged April 4 with four counts of forgery and one count of fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance, all felonies.

An investigation by the Missouri Bureau of Emergency Medical Services has revealed that although Ford was licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT), he altered his state licensure card to make it fraudulently appear that he was an Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic, or EMT-P.
