City Pitches Ice Pigging, Dump No Place for Trash

Public Works Director Mark Morey discussed the results from the ice pigging with the Gallatin Board of Aldermen during their meeting held June 9 at city hall. Ice pigging is a method of cleaning pipes using an ice slurry. The city did not see the results they had hoped for.

“The ice removed some of the build up, but not as much as we had hoped,” said City Administrator Zac
