Harold Hennen of Gallatin has had a lot of close shaves and he’s given a few, too, during his 30 years in the military (1951-1981). Twenty of those years were on active duty, and 10 were in fleet reserve. Besides serving on some unique and historic ships, Harold was the personal barber for President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

What a wonderful story of a full life, Please tell Mr. Hennen thank you for a job well done and for his service. I had a few chuckles thinking of cutting President Eisenhower’s hair being a full time job.
