For the seventh straight year, the Polar Bear Plunge at Lake Viking provided a big boost for the Special Olympics. The festive event was held on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the clubhouse area of Lake Viking. By the time, plungers hit the water around two in the afternoon, the temperature was in the 40’s. All totaled, 93 plungers raised $26,700 (so far with money still coming).
