Good Thinking: It’s Quintilis!

In pre-Roman times, Quintilis was the fifth month of the year. Because of major inaccuracies in the calendar, Emperor Julius Casear revised the Calendar in 46AD. It became known as the Julian Calendar or the Solar Calendar. And since Casear’s birthday was in the month of Quintilis, that month was re-named “Julius” in his honor.
