Rogers Opens Historical Museum in Jamesport

James Rogers, a lifetime resident of rural Gallatin, has opened a museum above the Mercantile store in downtown Jamesport and will have a grand opening on June 15. His display includes over 500 authentic Native American artifacts, mastodon and mammoth fossils, petrified wood, Lake Superior agates, and other gemstones. Also featured are coins and relics from the ghost town of Carlow.
