10:12 am – Sheriff out at Gallatin Elementary School.

2 pm – Warrant was issued for Michael Faught, 48, Jamesport. Faught was arrested by MSHP and taken to DDCRJ on 5-20-13. He was charged with class D felony no valid license. He posted $15,000 cash bond and was released.

3:09 pm – Response to vehicle accident at the junction of Highway 6 and Highway 13.

Farmers’ Electric Celebrates 75th Anniversary

Chadwick-Duffy Wedding Announced

Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Chadwick and Ms. Tracey Huitt announce the wedding of their children Megan and Justin on June 1 at Shae’s Place in Gallatin. Megan Chadwick is a 2009 graduate of Gallatin High School and a 2012 graduate of North Central Missouri College with an LPN degree. OnTheStreet_WPCHILLICOTHE, MO — The Memorial Day holiday weekend wasn’t exactly what one might have dialed up. Cool, windy and wet most of the weekend and that included a hard rain and lots of wind Sunday night and Monday morning.

Things were very quiet in our town. Last Friday evening the Chillicothe Summer Playground Association staged its annual opening ceremonies at the Danner Sports Complex with a large crowd on hand.

Melvin Lighthill 1929-2013

Melvin D. Lighthill, 84 of Cameron, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at Cameron Health Care. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 31st, at the First Assembly of God Church in Cameron. Interment will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery near Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God Church of Cameron in care of the funeral home.
