Scout Fields for Crop Pests

The combination of small corn and black cutworm make for a bad situation. Be sure to scout fields for black cutworm. The late planting and early season cool temperatures have increased the typical risk for black cutworm injury in corn.

The economic threshold for a rescue treatment is when 1-2% or more plants are cut below the ground and 2-3% percent have been cut above
