Food for Everyone, Local Roots at Kidder School

The Kennards

Jim and Araksya Kennard of Gallatin have purchased the Kidder college building and grounds and hope to have the School of Agronomy up and running in two or three years.

“The idea is to help the local community — from Kansas City northward — to become self-sufficient in their food production,” he said.

The Kidder school sits on 20 acres and has nine classrooms, a chapel, a full-size
