Shuttle Bus Reminder

The VA shuttle bus runs to the Kansas City area clinics and hospital Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, leaving at 6:30 sharp. Tuesday and Thursday are days used to go to other VA clinics and hospitals as needed. Call 1-816-922-2449 a minimum of 72 hours before a desired ride. It is preferred that veterans call as soon as you know have an appointment.

Renew Hunting, Fishing Permits Online with MDC

Many hunting and fishing permits will expire at the end of February, including 2012 permits for small game, fishing, trout fishing and the combination permit for hunting and fishing. Cameron Graduates Basic Training

soldier cameron basidAir Force Airman Tyler Cameron graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Missouri has 22 Independent Living centers, each covering their own counties, including Access II Independent Living Center at 101 Industrial Parkway in Gallatin, which was established in 1995. Access II covers eight counties: Daviess, Caldwell, Carroll, Grundy, Harrison, Livingston, Mercer and Ray.
