TARKIO, MO — Replacement of a water tube system at the northeast pond at the Tarkio Golf Course prompted the temporary destruction of the pond dam. Levings Services of Tarkio was commissioned to perform the work, draining pond water to a nearby creek to allow for the tube replacement. The pond is fed by a spring but if that fails to replenish the pond, water will be pumped to refill
