Natural gas rates go down

Effective Nov. 17, natural gas rates for Summit Natural Gas of Missouri, Inc., customers will see rates decrease to reflect estimated changes in the wholesale cost of natural gas as well as a change in the company’s “actual cost adjustment” factor.

Customers in Gallatin, Coffey and Hamilton were paying approximately 50-cents per hundred cubic feet (Ccf) of natural gas. The new rate will reduce to approximately 40-cents per Cff. A
