Mini-grant boosts CADA effort at Milan

MILAN, MO — Communities Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) received a $5,000 boost by way of an ACT Missouri Mini-Grant awarded this fall. The group which organized in 2008 works to elevate community awareness on illegal substance abuse in Sullivan County. Currently about 15 volunteers are members, coming from diverse parts of the community including law enforcement, school staff, social workers, faith community and concerned parents. CADA members meet quarterly
