Funeral services for Marjorie Lewis were held Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Burial was at Centenary Cemetery, Gallatin. Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.

Gallatin City Minutes

Tim Slagle discussed the antenna lease agreement between Gallatin and Mid-States Services and the Board of Aldermen held first and second readings on an ordinance to sign the agreement during their regular meeting held Monday, Sept. 24, at city hall. Mid-States will be adding an additional antenna to the city’s tower.

City Administrator Zac Johnson discussed the EPA’s pending RICE rule regarding specific diesel powered electric generators.

King City rallies for 10 late runs to down GHS girls

When Gallatin scored five times in the fifth inning to take a 9-3 lead, King City’s Lady Wildkats were maybe thinking an undefeated run through the GRC was not to be. All that changed in the sixth inning.

DAWGS win silver medals

The Trenton DAWGS traveled to Cameron on Sunday to participate in the Special Olympic Area Flag Football Tournament. They received silver medals after two great football games and very close scores. Richard L. Mix 1936-2012

Richard L. Mix, 76, Gallatin, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richard L. Mix Memorial Fund, in care of McWilliams Funeral Home, 1329 W. Grand, Gallatin.
