SAVANNAH, MO — City limit signs around Savannah recently were upgraded, revealing a positive change. Savannah’s population has broken the 5,000-person mark, according to the 2010 U.S. Census. This is an increase of 295 people from the 2000 Census total of 4,762. This is a 6% growth rate. Andrew County also experienced a population increase during this decade past, up nearly 5% to total 17,291 persons — the highest yet.
