Becerra, Elliott easily win primary election Unofficial primary election results for Daviess County show Democrat incumbent Sheriff Ben Becerra easily defeating Jerry Baldwin in balloting conducted Aug. 7. Becerra pulled a 71.45% majority, attracting 603 votes compared to just 241 for Baldwin.
