Prepare to manage frogeye soybean disease using resistant varieties

Frogeye leaf spot has been found to be resistant to azoxystrobin fungicide in several counties in Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and now Missouri. Azoxystrobin is in the strobilurin family of fungicides.

When you order your soybean seed this year, choose soybean varieties with genetic resistance to frogeye leaf spot. Resistant varieties should be used rather than fungicide applications.
