Reunions – Wooderson

Thirty-two descendants of Thomas E. and Jemima Stotts Wooderson met at Recreation Park in Cameron on June 26 for their annual reunion.

Gann, Nalle graduate from Linn

Nathan William Gann of Gallatin, Heavy Equipment Operations, and Justin D. Nalle of Pattonsburg, Industrial Electricity – Construction Emphasis, are both May 2011 graduates of Linn State Technical College.

Uthe named June MVP for Cameron Insurance Companies

Barbara Uthe, Altamont, was named the June 2011 Most Valuable Performer at Cameron Insurance Companies.

Barb Uthe was nominated by her supervisor for an "excellent work ethic and positive attitude toward her attendance." Barb recently voluntarily stepped up to help her department absorb extra tasks that were left open due to a recent transfer of a coworker to another department. Veterans benefit fair July 8

There will be a veterans benefit fair at the Trenton VFW Post 919 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 8.

Please bring a copy of your DD 214 and all paperwork that you may have from the VA. Representatives from the VA will be present from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to answer questions. There will be a PTSD counselor present as well to talk with any veterans

Gilman City woman fatally injured in accident

Michelle Kincade, 44, Gilman City, was fatally injured in an accident that happened at about 7:15 a.m. on June 23, in Grundy County.

Kincade was driving a 1993 Geo Tracker northbound on Route A about seven miles northwest of Trenton, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway patrol. The right front tire of the vehicle dropped off of the right side of the road. The vehicle traveled back

2 pickups collide; Kansas man hurt after hydroplanes

A Jamesport man received moderate injuries in an accident in which he was a passenger. The wreck happened at 12 p.m. on June 26, in Mercer County.

A highway patrol report states that Edwin Hostetler, 34, Chillicothe, was driving a 2010 Chevrolet pickup westbound on US 136 about a quarter-of-a-mile east of Princeton.
