Girls Scouts join mayor to kick off cookie sales

Girl Scouts of Troop 8057 joined Mayor Barb Ballew and members of the Gallatin City Council to kick off the annual 2010 Girl Scout cookie sales which begins Oct. 30.

2010 Football: Dogs eliminated from playoff picture after 43-6 loss to Panthers

Daviess County students receive MU scholarship

Riley Rains of Gallatin has been awarded the Miller-Morse Scholarship and Rachel Hangley of Pattonsburg has been awarded the August and Gladys Braksick Scholarship from the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources for the 2010-2011 academic year.

"Scholarships enable us to recruit and retain outstanding students to our college," said Bryan Garton, associate dean of academic programs.
