Roy Leeper serves with most heavily engaged unit of WWII

On April 28, 1941, Roy Leeper and five other local boys walked to the train depot north of Gallatin. The depot was located where the MFA elevator is now. They got on a troop train and took it all the way to Jefferson Barracks at St. Louis.
