Graves seeks art contest submissions

U.S. Congressman Sam Graves is seeking submissions for "An Artistic Discovery," the annual Congressional High School Art Competition.

The competition is a yearly event held in each of the 435 Congressional Districts, including the Sixth District of Missouri. It highlights the importance of art education by recognizing outstanding
talented young artists in each district. The winning entries are exhibited for a year in the United States Capitol Building.

FEC will conduct phone survey to determine quality of service

During the next few weeks, Farmers’ Electric Cooperative will be participating in a telephone survey that is conducted every three years to determine the quality of service provided to its members.

"The survey will ask a number of questions to measure your energy usage and your level of satisfaction with Farmers’," said Steve Shoot, FEC’s manager of Member Services.

March 26 was the Easter egg hunt at Daviess County Nursing and Rehab. The elementary school, preschool through fourth grade, were brought out to the facility by bus for the event. That’s 258 children in all! We would like to express appreciation to the Daviess County Health Department for their help in hiding eggs. We filled 2,000 eggs. Each egg was filled with either money,
