Katie Patton receives president’s award, initiated into Phi Upsilon Omicron

Katie Patton, a junior at Eastern Kentucky University, recently received the President’s Award for the Fall 2008 semester.

Gallatin Science Olympiad competes at Trenton; several teams place first

The Gallatin R-5 High School Science Olympiad team with nine members competed last Saturday at districts in Trenton.

The team placed sixth out of 12 schools with the top four teams going to state.

Tree Climbers genealogy club had their regular monthly meeting Thursday evening.
