Members of the Daviess County Master Gardeners don’t just promote the love of floral design. This group of about 15 volunteers also promotes civic beautification and environmental responsibility.
The organization was started in 2005 after all the individuals attended a Master Gardener’s class. The class involved extensive training for 13 weeks and was sponsored by the University of Missouri Extension. Upon graduation, Master Gardeners are required to fulfill 30-50 hours
