The Pattonsburg R-2 Board of Education accepted the resignation of board member Diane Hulet during its regular meeting held Sept. 15. Lincoln Cornett, board secretary, certified with the Board of Education that there is a vacancy due to Ms. Hulet’s resignation. Ms. Hulet resigned due to personel reasons.

Pattonsburg will pursue grant for new well

During the regular meeting held Wednesday, Aug. 13, Water Superintendent Eddy Meador reported to the Pattonsburg Board of Aldermen that the city needs to start thinking about digging a new water well because well #5 is having a lot of problems. The board gave permission to pursue getting a grant.
