Fourth grade students from Tri-County School District visit Sen. Lager in Jefferson City

Sen. Brad Lager met with the students to explain the legislative process and the responsibilities of being an elected official. The students also took a tour of the Capitol, where they learned about the history of the General Assembly and Missouri government.

Trojanettes win championship, 5-0 overall

The Trojanettes 10 and under team recently took first place in the St. Joe Showdown Tournament held May 17 and 18 in St. Joseph. The team went 5-0 overall. They are coached by Shanda Stockton (King City) and Emily McCampbell (Albany).

Quail management workshop & whistle Count

The Missouri Department of Conservation will be presenting a quail management workshop at the Greg Dix’s farm in Caldwell County on Saturday, June 7.

Megan Hayes Stout graduated May 10 from Mississippi State University, Oxford, Miss., with a degree in business administration.
