Sgt. William Jackson of McFall trains for peacekeeping mission in Kosovo

[1]Since early April, more than 1,000 Missouri Army National Guardsmen, including Sgt. William Jackson, of McFall,  have been training at Camp Atterbury, near Edinburgh, Ind.,  to support the NATO-led Kosovo peacekeeping mission.

Most Soldiers began their training in Missouri at Camp Crowder and Camp Clark. Training for this mission is quite a bit longer than a typical mission to Afghanistan or Iraq because soldiers are doing peace enforcement operations along
