Joan B. Weber, 62, Jamesport, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007 at North Kansas City Hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, May 31 at the Caring Family Worship Center in Jamesport. Family visitation will be held 6:30 – 8 p.m., Wednesday evening at McWilliams Funeral Home, Jamesport. Interment will be at Masonic Cemetery in Jamesport. The Gallatin R-V School District and CTA honored Cheryl Bonderer as the district’s Teacher Of The Year, and also recognized retirees Mrs. Bonderer and Jerry Batson on May 29 in ceremonies held in the high school commons.

Whited-Pugh to be married on June 2

Nine Winston R-6 students selected for publication

Earlier this year, 7th and 8th grade language arts students at Winston R-6 entered the Creative Communication Poetry Contest.
