Funeral services for Audree Alcom were held Monday, Nov. 27, at Roberson-Polley Chapel, Stanberry. Burial was at High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine View Manor Auxiliary.
Audree Helen Alcorn, 97, Stanberry, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at Pine View Manor in Stanberry.

Mrs. Brown was born on Aug. 12, 1909, the daughter of Frank and Maude Brown of Gilman City. She had one brother, Dean.

Carl McCrary

Funeral services for Carl McCrary were held Monday at the Hamilton United Methodist Church. Arrangements were by Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton. Interment was at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton. Memorials may be made to the Hamilton American Legion Post No. 285, which will be providing military honors for the service.

Green Hills meets Dec. 5

A regular meeting of the Green Hills Community Action Agency (GHCAA) Board of Directors will be held t the GHCAA Area Office, 1506 Oklahoma Ave., Trenton, on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m.

The Personnel Committee will meet at 6 p.m., followed by the Finance and By-Laws Committees at 6:30 p.m.

Giving with thanks….

Just days prior to Thanksgiving, to express their thanks for volunteers of food pantries and community agencies, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, families, leaders and missionaries of various LDS Church congregations in northern Missouri combined their efforts with The Willis Elliott Orchard in Spickard to share the harvest from their apple orchard. The Willis Elliott Orchard is owned by members Tim and Tanya Richardson.
