The Daviess County Central 9-1-1 Board held a tax rate hearing along with its regular Aug. 31 meeting.
No citizens were present for the tax rate hearing. After discussion, the board voted for the tax rate to remain at the present rate of ½ cent. (Motion passed 2 for and 1 against.)
The treasurer’s report was presented and accepted with bills of $13,187.54, revenue of $19,927.34 and a bank balance
