Civil Court

Midwestern Health Management, plaintiff, vs. Larry and Carla Ruch, defendants: Judgment was entered for the plaintiff for a total of $1,397.68 plus costs and interest.

Traffic Fines

The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment by mail of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $1,731.50 for 19 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $1,863 for 27 cases. Associate Circuit Court

Defendants found guilty in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County are listed below with the offense and fine assessed. Additionally, court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $66.50 for moving traffic violations and $114.50 in most criminal cases.

DreVaughn Dickerson places 3rd at karate championship

DreVaughn Dickerson, 7, of Gallatin, placed third at the 2005 Tom Sawyer Karate Championship

DreVaughn Dickerson, 7, of Gallatin, placed third at the 2005 Tom Sawyer Karate Championship held Oct. 8 in Hannibal. DreVaughn competed in the kumite division fighting in the beginner/advanced class.

This was DreVaughn’s first professional tournament. He’s currently practicing kempo karate at Superior Self Defense Studio in Cameron. DreVaughn’s next competition will be the 2005 Elite

Helicopter Fly In

Searcy elementary enjoyed a visit Oct. 6 from the Missouri National Guard

Searcy elementary students at Gallatin enjoyed a visit Oct. 6 from the Missouri National Guard Counterdrug Program. The Guard explained to the students how the observation helicopter was used as part of their effort to reduce illegal drugs. The helicopter is stationed at Jefferson City and travels to schools throughout Missouri.
