Gallatin’s Junior High basketball games with Princeton on Tuesday, Nov. 1, will be played at Gallatin instead of Princeton. This is the season opener for GJH teams, which also plays at home on Nov. 2 against Braymer.

County Commission

James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that they continue to make repairs around the county.

Bills were audited and paid.

The commission discussed the CART program. Proceed orders for Benton and Union Townships were approved, finalizing the program for the year.

Sheriff’s Department

Larry Hoover, 46, Chillicothe, was arrested Oct. 21 for felony passing bad checks. Bond was posted.

Colin Bollin, 22, Chillicothe, was arrested on a probation violation on an original felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. He is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $5,000 bond.

Seth Bartmess, 21, Fort Riley, Kan., was arrested Oct. 21 on a Harrison County felony warrant for passing bad checks. He posted
