Health survey to canvas county

Jack L. Hunsucker, Administrator of the Daviess County Health Department announces that the “County-wide Health Needs Survey” will soon be mailed to a random sample of Daviess County households. This questionnaire was developed in collaboration with Grundy, Livingston, Caldwell, Harrison and Tri-County (Worth, Gentry & DeKalb) Health Departments as part of the Northwest Regional Health Assessment being conducted in cooperation with Truman State University.

Enrollment down at R-5, board reviews budget, performance reports

Gallatin R-5 Board of Education

The Gallatin R-5 Board of Education learned that enrollment is 605, down about 27 students, during their regular meeting held Wednesday, Sept. 14. The figure represents a loss of $100,000 or about 2% of the school’s total budget.
