A Utah man received minor injuries in an accident at about 1:32 p.m. on June 22 on Hwy.13 at Drake Road, two miles south of Coffey in Daviess County.
The accident occurred as both vehicles were northbound on Hwy. 13. Howard Houston, 69, St. George, Utah, passed a grain truck, then attempted to pass another grain truck driven by Roger Williams, 46, Pattonsburg. Mr. Williams was attempting to turn left

Patriotic selections and other musical numbers
Gallatin City Wide Band, along many out-of-town musicians, will be performing patriotic selections and other musical numbers starting at 5 p.m. on July 3 on the Daviess County Courthouse lawn. Remember to bring your lawn chairs. Music is under the direction of Gallatin R-5 band instructor, Gene Edwards.

2005 Crops Clinic to be Held
The University of Missouri Extension office will be hosting a crops clinic. All producers and dealers in the region are invited to attend. The meeting will be held at Landmark Manufacturing on June 29 at 10 a.m. and will run as long as there is discussion.

Funeral services for Mary Strange will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, June 29), at the United Christian Presbyterian Church, Lawson. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Leavenworth, Kan., National Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Polley Funeral Home, Lawson. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
