Associate Circuit Court

Defendants found guilty in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County are listed below with the offense and fine assessed. Additionally, court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $66.50 for moving traffic violations, and $114.50 in most criminal cases.

Lance R. McAfee, Gilman City, driving while suspended amended by prosecuting attorney to no valid license, $150; careless and imprudent diving and no belt, $58.50.

Traffic Fines

The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment by mail of the standard fine plus courts costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $1,990.50 for 23 cases. Court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $2,034.50 for 30 moving traffic violations. Missouri

Civil Court

Capital One Bank, plaintiff, vs. Debra J. Head, defendant: Judgment was entered for the plaintiff for a total of $1,125.08 plus interest and court costs.

Midland Credit Management, plaintiff, vs. Kimberly Middaugh, defendant: A consent judgment was entered in favor of the plaintiff for a total of $1,516.12 plus interest and costs; execution stayed for 90 days.

Midwestern Health Management, plaintiff, vs. Constance L. Dupy, defendant: the cause was dismissed

L&N Motors Inc., plaintiff, vs. James Baker Jr., defendant: Judgment entered for the plaintiff for a total of $733.53.

L&N Financial Inc., plaintiff, vs. Roy and Terry Hogan, defendants: The claim against the defendant was dismissed with prejudice at plaintiff’s cost.

Sheriff’s Department

Lyle Nieman, 41, Gallatin, was arrested April 22 on a felony probation warrant on an original charge of attempted theft of anhydrous ammonia and on two misdemeanor charges, DWI and possession of paraphernalia. He is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $10,000 bond.

Ralph Berry, 41, Gallatin, was arrested April 24 for probation violations on an original charge of felony stealing. He is being held at Midwest Security Housing

Circuit Court

Dissolutions of marriage were granted April 25 by Judge Stephen Griffin to Marla Roxanne Simecek from David Jan Simecek, and to Johnnie Bryan Willits from Carol Sue Willits.
